Appel Funeral Home/Central Memorial Chapel understands that as each person is unique, so too may be the type of service required. In addition to our facilities and the additional services listed below, Appel Funeral Home/Central Memorial Chapel also offers a small selection of merchandise to accomodate your needs.

• Additional services are available such as direct disposition with immediate cremation or burial.
• The funeral home has facilities for private viewing, prayer service, and evening vigils.
• We are well experienced in the coordination and transfer of remains out of province and country.
• Adaptations in the settings of Traditional Funeral and Memorial service are possible.

Funeral Pre-Arrangement Service

Appel Funeral Home/Central Memorial Chapel offers pre-planning services to those who are interested in arranging their future funeral service. Appel Funeral Home/Central Memorial Chapel offers two types:

1. Pre-arranged
   
   Information will be collected and kept on file, detailing aspects of the desired funeral service to be followed and completed at death. The estate will be responsible for payment after the funeral service has occurred.
2. Pre-paid Arrangements
   
   Upon selection of funeral service, the purchaser and the funeral home will enter a contract where services are pre-paid. The payment is placed in a trust account, accruing interest to offset inflation costs when the death occurs in the future. The contract may be canceled or transferred to another funeral home at any time prior to death. At cancellation or transfer, the entire value of the trust account including original payment and interest will be returned less an administration fee.
